Vortex 2 convention, May 2010, Belfast

    UT Events are holding another Doctor Who and related programs convention this May in Belfast. They so far have one guest confirmed Kai Owen who played Rhys Williams in Torchwood. The exact date doesn't appear to be set yet. More details as they happen will be announced here.

    Went to it last year, was a good show, the guests were very welcoming and accommodating for the fans, especially Paul Marc Davies.

    Went last year as well, pretty well run, it was good craic. Def intend to go this year, really hoping it doesn't clash with exams :)

    So Vortex 2 has been announced for 2 May 2010, a one day Who event in Belfast.

    Kai Owen is their first announced guest. (Last year they had Chipo Chung, Gareth David Llyod and Paul Davis.)

    Tickets go on sale Monday.

    They have announced a second guest,Rakie Ayola, who played the stewardess in 'Midnight' They seem to be doing some Water ski with a Dalek down Lough Neagh pretty soon.

    This too shall pass.
