If anyone wants to see what many of us enjoyed yesterday...

    The European Club

You'll have to forgive the round shadow that appears dead centre of the photos - a grain of sand in the lens I suspect.

The course looks in great condition considering all the weather, great photos. fair play to Mr Ruddy for the green fee special. Seems it has given people the golf bug again:)

Pat must be commended for being one of the smartest businessman in golf, i can hear him now saying why not have a full course for 40e instead of an empty one for 100e....

    He said exactly that :)
Said he was driving down to Cork on tuesday and noticed practically everywhere was closed so put in the call to the paper.. no point in him being open and empty and everywhere else closed.
I have to agree he's a great operator and the little chat when you're booking in is all a big part of the appeal of the place for me.

Superb. Best course in the country in my opinion.
Fair play to all those who picked up a great bargin.
