hello all this may be silly question but will ask anyway. may iveco conversion is nearly ready (hopefully in month) i will have to take it down to tullamore to get it registered as a camper. my question is what type of insurance do i put on it,can i get camper van insurance before it is registered or will i have to insure it as van which would be a whole other problem cause i would only need it insured as a van for one day and my insurance company only insure cars so i couldn't change over with them.

Your best bet if you can do it is to get a friend who already has camper van insurance to transfer it for a day, and get it down that way.In the past, that was the only way i could find to transport the van before i had my own certificate. Hope it works for you as they won't transfer insurance from a car to a camper or give you temporary cover.........................b
