I dont think it will come out next year though. I thought i saw a trailer or a gameplay video during last E3. I could be wrong but i think one of the lead developers of this game was also the lead developer for GTA 3 .

There's confusion between Agent and The Agency going on here. Rockstar are developing a PS3 exclusive game called Agent that was revealed at e3 last year, and they literally just showed the title and that's it. I think someone said that it's a 70s set espionage style game, but I could be remembering that wrong.

The Agency is a MMO style action game developed by SoE is I remember correctly, or I could be getting confused with DC Universe online.

Also, APB is not done by Rockstar but Realtime Worlds.

And its PC only. Which is a shame because it looks awesome

    I'm worried about Agent.

There is NOTHING about it anywhere, apart from a developer saying it will be genre-defying, as well as a lot of compliments on the Playstations capabilities when developing exclusively for it which, you know, is always nice to hear.

I hope they're keeping it tight in terms of game info/screens so as not to rock the boat with Microsoft and/or 360 fans..... and not just that they haven't done a tap of work on it.

It is Rockstar though. They have a reputation of being tight lipped on their games

They also have a reputation for wanting ALL of the money. I hope we don't see a hacked down port at the last minute.

That's very true about the money.

But I think we'll be pleasantly surprised at the quality. Rockstar North are pretty good when it comes to developing.

I'm more inclined to wonder about L.A Noire. http://www.rockstargames.com/lanoire/splash.html. Was very much looking forward to that but I haven't heard anything in a long time.

I'm worried about LA Noir too. Did I hear right that one of the Rockstar divisions let a load of people go recently? If so, it could mean one or two projects got cancelled.

Also, Red Dead Redemption is out soon, so they could just be focusing on its release and then release info on their other projects afterwards. I think Red Dead Redemption is their highest profile IP, so they may not want anything to steal it's thunder.

Very true. I read reoprts that the game will have to sell $5 million worth of copies just to break even as it's been in development for near enough 6 years. Rockstar are really just releasing it to show that the studio Rockstar San Diego can do a triple A title.

I've a feeling we won't be seeing anything about this for some time.

I got the impression that Sony kinda forced the announcement of the game. With all the attention MS were getting with their exclusive GTA4 DLC deal with Rockstar, I think Sony wanted to let PS3 owners know, that yes the xbox is getting DLC content, but the PS3 is getting a completely new game from the same makers.

Just read something from rockstar where they said there will be a front page cover story regarding LA Noir next month, so it looks like the game is still going ahead

I think at E3 last year it was more to do with Microsoft getting FFXIII and a Metal Gear Rising, so they felt they had to announce a major exclusive, hence all we were shown was the title 'Agent' and apparently Sony called in a favour with Square Enix to get the FF XIV console exclusive.
