This isnt exactly art per se, though i guess it is craft....

anyway for a while i have been thinking about trying to get a group of people together to try our hands at building a Geodesic Dome, or if we were even more adventurous, maybe a yurt.

Maybe ncad students would be interested in this type of project, then again maybe they have had enough of these kinds of things.

Would be a good laugh though i reckon

    :)

You should contact IMOCA (Irish Museum of Contemporary Art). They have a large outdoor space which they can provide to anybody interested in creating something intersting.
I would be interested in being involved if I get the time. Keep me posted on your progress.

(i don't work for IMOCA by the way)

I suspect that the reason for the lack of responses is too many "Lazyfeckers" suffering from depression because they've listend to the DoomandGloom Merchants for the past two years.

If you were offering "refreshments" and loose wimmin [and men] there might be some interest.

"Sex it up" a little and see what you get, perhaps introduce some music in the backgroud and psychedelic lighting - you could end up with a whole new geometry <LOL!>

    ONQ.

'Fraid to tell you that A&A isn't where this thread belongs neither! I can put it in Construction since this is really for the theoretical discussion of both Art & Architecture without the actual doing-of-it.

    Good luck with it though!

Yea but construction isnt a place where there would have been any responce to it either, as is evident from there not being a single reply since u moved it.
And yet there were a few replies before that.
