Fantastic bike light for €3.95 with free standard shipping.

They ship from Hong Kong and you have to wait 3 weeks for it but its easily worth the wait for €4. Fantastic bike light or just handy around the house.
Build quality is as good as a mag light in my opinion.

    *************************************************************

These are also a great set.
They are silicone can be attached anywhere on the bike using the hooks and silicone loops. They are very visible in the dark even with only one LED on each. I would recommend buying two sets that way you have two white for the front and two red for the back.

Priced at €3.29 a set with free standard shipping (3 weeks)

Checkout is with Paypal and anything i have ever ordered from Deal Extreme arrived (eventually ;-)

Hope they are of use to somebody.

ebay has decent bike lights. Mine cost 2.50 delivered a few months ago for both front and back and they are no different that whats €15 in the shop.

    For instance see here.

There may be the same set cheaper but thats the one I got but from a different seller.

They have very decent bike lights in the the Euro2 shops, they have one that's almost identicle to the first one posted. I think Euro2 get some of their stuff from the same place as dealextreme, their usb hubs and stuff seem to be the same a lot of the time.

Ye i own them now. They are great. Good weight in the black one. And the others are very light so they are hardly noticeable on the bike.

As for buying on ebay and the €2 shop. I have seen similar lights in both of these places but not with the build quality this one has and never with 9 LED's

The ebay ones you posted are either 3 or 5 LED's

I got some off ebay a while back ( despite only arriving a couple weeks ago and taking 5-6 weeks to deliver).

They cost me about €3.50 (front and back)
I found they brackets were next to useless but found a way to get them properly attached. Anyway with 7 leds on the front and very bright i was pleased but on my second use after turning it on the thing starting melting at the battery connection. Smoke was coming out of it and momentarily was useless. Honestly im going to go ahead and get a more expensive one (yet not the tops) for round €10-15 in a shop! Some things just aint worth China

got mine this morning, and quite dissapointed. the 9LED light came with no batteries, but i must have been under a false impression it did.(it takes 3 AAA batteries)

but at least it works, and even though its daylight, it looks pretty bright.

the silicon set however, only the white one works, the red one doesnt, even after changing the batteries from the white one. (also noted that the white one had 2 batteries inside, while the red only had 1.)

Bit late but I don't like the look of the first set of lights - they don't appear to make you visible from the sides, so there's a blind spot there.

Have a look at some of the front and back light sets here (halfway down the page): http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/SearchResults.aspx?Search=smart
