A bit late but is anyone interested in a 2.5 to 3 hour spin starting anywhere within a 10 mile radius of the city at some stage tomorrow. Had arranged a spin with another boardsie for 9.30 but he has wussed out (you heard me al). Can head out at any stage.

I am cycling from cork to tralee tomorrow. A mate o mine is gonna ride with me as far as mushera and then head back for cork,Bout 4 hours round trip i'd say. 11 o clock victoria cross if you're interested.

sounds like a plan. can I stay at the bottom of mushera and wait for him to come back down? :D

If I'm not there at 11 (side of the crow's nest) leave without me. gotta head out and run a few errands now.

Hi there, I'm a bit delayed due to last nights beer consumption. Also my mate has pulled out. I'll spin past the Crow's nest on my way and see if you're there.

Hey sorry I never met up with you. Feckin bike had a flat tyre and that delayed me further, was nearly 12 by the time I left home. I should have pointed you in the direction of St. Finbarr's cycling club (my club). They have a spin at 10 on saturdays and sundays usually, leaving either from the bandon road roundabout or grand parade in town. no problem. headed down to bandon and back to ballincollig via crookstown - 70km so happy enough with first outdoors spin of the year. got a flat myself entering bandon only to discover the lock lever on my pump was broken. also had no presta to schrader adaptor so the petrol station pump was a no go. 5 lads pulled in on bike without a pump between them:mad:. flagged down the next roady to pass who again had no pump but had the adaptor so I was back in business. alls well that ends well.

passed a couple lads up past the viaduct one of whom had just suffered a complet blowout of tyre and tube. the team car (his wife) had been summoned. must remember to put a spare fold up tyre in the back pocket in future as the roads are leathal with potholes and general debris.
