i am looking to; well not so much me as the wife looking to buy a new washing machine; i live in county limerick; anyone got tips on the best buy and where? she's buying it but i'm paying for it so help maybe required.

You could try Soundstore out on the Ballysimon Road or Curry's on the Dublin Road. I've had a few bits from Soundstore in the past and their people seem to know what they're talking about and they aren't as pushy as some of the other places.
