Rumble from back of car under light braking

'07 Opel Meriva, 46000km. Just noticed this today, it's definitely only under light braking and starts a low rumbling at under 15kph at the back. There's nothing in the boot to make a noise. The rear brake discs look and feel ok. Think I'll sit in the back of the car tomorrow to pinpoint the noise. Any ideas?

    Rust on the brake discs?

Noticed something like that myself on my own car. Turns out it was an accumulation of grit from the snow etc. So when i close the boot I hear a noise like broken glass rattling or small stones in the boot.

    Maybe it's grit?

Get the same on my Opel. It only happens the first time I brake on a spin. I guess its just a build up of rust or grit. I don't worry about it

    (maybe I should) :D

Maybe. I sure as hell wouldn't like to see one of my wheels rolling past my window :pac:.
