There is also, The Late Late Show, Winning Streak, Operation Transformation and The View.
But not stuff like "Ear to the Ground" or "Room to Improve" which I would have thought they should have been able to show.

rte's range of content available abroad is pretty poor.

heres a good example of something that is online for Ireland only but blocked in the rest of the world
    The School
Documentary series about the teachers and pupils at St Peter's College, Dunboyne. In the third term, students receive their mock exam results and Mr Gannon announces his retirement
    50:00 Ireland Only

why would you block something like this?
I cant see any network outside ireland looking to rebroadcast this. Nor will RTEs server capacity be drained to the last by a worldwide scurry to watch a documentary on daily life in an irish school.

    Its madness.

RTÉ don't make every programme that they show. They cannot put it all online for various reasons like rights

I would also question why "The School" isn't available on RTÉ Player. Hopefully th e much better Music Changes Lives is available.

Is The School made by RTÉ or is it made by an independant company for RTÉ?

Produced by Scratch Films for RTÉ. But the majority of programmes outside News, CA and Sports are produced by Indo Producers. RTE commissioned them therefore they fully own the rights.
