MAG, Star, Dboys, all are decent mags, Star and MAG being the best. A bit of silicone oil and your laughing.

And they will fit a JG gun? Or do all manufacturers fit each other?

Also just noticed i posted in the wrong place, sorry all.

The MAG and Star one's do, the Dboys should do aswell.

Dboys never made a g36... atleast not a good one. Thier mags are 50 round lowcaps with the fake bullets... great craic. Them, JG, TM, mag etc fit. Star ones are reals left :P

www.ehobbyasia.com stock mag boxes... good stuff.

I'd recommend the Star midcaps. You can get them in a pack of 5 fairly cheap. Try ehobbyasia.com

Went out with 7 of the dboys ones yesterday. Fed flawlessly, fit perfect. The downside is the reduced quantity of ammo in a game where hi-caps are allowed.

    Still fun though.

I bought a box of 10 30rd Star mags for dirt cheap (something like a fiver a mag) and boy did I get what I paid for but they work ok and though they're super horrible looking if you don't have much to blow and don't mind being stuck with 26 rounds a mag they're functional (it also helps if your magwell is held on with those really nice push pin things as the BB release on those cheap mags is a pain in the ass).

I've a couple of the 50 round fake bullet DBoys mags too and they're much nicer. If I had money I'd be phasing out the cheapies in favour of them.

Star also make a higher capacity mag in boxes of 5 but I've no experience of them.

the star/ares 140rd mags are of highter quality than there cheaper 30round version, the 140rd mags are in matt black and the ones i have feed without issue

It's not feeding I have problems with, they feed fine, it's unloading post game. The release tab is small, recessed and heavily sprung. I find the easiest way to unload them is to remove my magwell and push it down onto the mag.

Oddly enough I just got a Star 140rd one this very morning and it jams like nobodys business with TM .2s. I'll give it a try with G&Gs later to see if it's just BBs.

I've used excel .20 and 'some-other-make' .25s and have never had a single jam.

I reckon it's just the BBs, I only ever use the TMs in hicaps. Didn't want to plink with the G&Gs as the gun the mag came with is new and has a stock barrel and I've found that they're very poor in standard diameter ones (possibly due to being 5.95mm).

Got the Kings Arms mid caps for my JG G36C ... no complaints. You'll need a speed loader though, which you don't need for the high caps.
