    Hi Guys,

    Have 10 days in Costa Rica, would like to head to adventure spot and then chill out at beach. Anyone got suggestions?

    Have heard La Fortuna de Carlos is a good place to base for Arenal park.

    Hello / Bump!

    Thinking of heading to Costa Rica for honeymoon
    looking for:
    -relaxation
    -adventure
    -not too much travel
    -off the beaten track
    -some luxury

    Any comments / advice would be appreciated.

    its been a while, but there's a stunning beach at Samara which is well off the beaten track, another beach near there where you can see the turtles laying their eggs at night time.

    Costa rica's a nice spot, quite expensive for central america though.

    Costa Rica is the most beautiful place in the whole world apart from Ireland of course!

    Nice places are definately Samura, with the town right on the beach ,and a lovely atmosphere. Infact the whole of Costa Rica has a great atmosphere except San Jose !

    People are so friendy and live life at a comfortable pace!

    The weather is great , the people are great, the food is great, the terrain is great, the beaches are great, the drink is great and the animals are great !

    The only not so great things about Costa Rica is the poverty , Earthquakes and rain in the wet season!

    I would love to go back there but the flights are bit out of budget for me :(
