What an moron. He really shouldn't be in the public eye or have young fans if he is up too this carry on.
N-Dubz rapper 'sent death threat to BBC Radio 1 listener' (Evening Herald)

    By Andrew Hough

    http://www.herald.ie/entertainment/a...r-2015440.html

A member of the popular hip-hop group, N-Dubz, reportedly made a death threat to a young BBC Radio 1 listener, after she complained about the act, it has been claimed.

Chloe Moody, 22, from Boston, Lincs, was allegedly subjected to the threat and a series of abusive messages and phone calls from Dino Contostavlos, a member of the band.

Mr Contostavlos, whose stage name is “Dappy”, reportedly sent the messages the young mother had earlier complained to the Chris Moyles Show, on Radio 1, where his band was a guest, about the act.

During Tuesday’s show, Moyles had asked listeners to email or text in their views on the North London group's latest single Playing With Fire.

The band read the messages as they appeared on the presenter's screen but Mr Contostavlos appeared to take exception to Miss Moody's negative comments and called her after the show.

Her negative review was not read aloud by Moyles or any of his team during the show, the BBC said.

A BBC spokeswoman confirmed the incident, but insisted no one on the show’s production team knew about what had occurred and that the message was not sent during the programme.

The rapper has reportedly apologised for the incident, which he said occurred when he was angry and “in the heat of the moment”.

According to the group’s Twitter feed, N-Dubz then went go-karting with Chris Moyles, his team and a competition winner.

When he received the complaint, believed to have called him “vile” and “repulsive”, the rapper was said to have secretly noted down Miss Moody’s number, before later trying to call her several times.

After noticing a series of missed calls, Miss Moody sent a message to the number inquiring who it was, The Sun reported.

The paper claimed he responded: “Your gonna die, U sent a very bad msg towards N Dubz on The Chris Moyels (sic) show yesterday Morning and for that reason u will never be left alone!! If u say sorry I will leave u alone u ****."

He then tried to phone again before sending another message which read: “Pick up the phone then u ******* Chicken".

Eventually answering the phone Miss Moody alleged she was then subjected to a torrent of foul-mouthed abuse.

Miss Moody, a mother of a three, described the incident as terrifying and said she was considering filing a formal complaint to police.

"It's terrifying when anybody sends you a death threat, whether it's real or not,” she told the newspaper.

“Somebody of a fragile mind and nervous would be worrying what they were going to do.

"His behaviour is unprofessional. I'm considering going to the police."

She added: "When you put yourself in the public eye you need to be able to handle criticism. I also feel let down by Radio One."

A spokesman for the rapper was not available for comment.

But in a statement to the newspaper, the rapper said: “I totally apologise to Chloe.

“I called her in the heat of the moment when I was angry, but that is no excuse for my behaviour.

“I’m genuinely sorry. I’d also like to send my sincerest apologies to Radio 1.”

A BBC spokeswoman said: “He must have taken the number down from the production team's text console in the studio.

“We were unaware of this but will ensure it doesn't happen again.”

The hip-hop band, from Camden, North London, have had six singles in the top 40 charts and also played at Radio One's Big Weekend in Swindon, Wiltshire, last year.

    Well look at him:

I'm not really surprised about his childish behavior.

    God no.

What do you expect to happen if you call a radio show and call the guest “vile” and “repulsive”?

Then you have to take into consideration that the musician is a gangsta so in my opinion what happened was only natural.

(And there's no need for the ^^^^^ if you're quoting me :D )

Pighead thinks people should lay off Dappy. What he done was quite tame when compared to the East Coast-West Coast gangster Rap wars of the 80's-90's or when Louis Walsh told Ronan Collins he was "nothing but a failed showband leader"

    That's not rap, it's crap.

BOT - he is a petty, childish, muppet that deserves whatever he gets. Why would any man go threatening a woman like that?

She should have informed the police about him. His real name seems to be "small barn" in Greek, in case anyone cares.

After being subjected to weeks of that crap they call music by my brother, if I had known about a live text in, my critisism would have been alot worse than vile and repulsive.

The rapper certainly did his best to prove her comments to be wrong.

So wait...I fail to see how taking a number down, waiting till the show is finished...then calling her...again and again...waiting for her responce...once again calling...Can possibly be called "in the heat of the moment"

This must have transpired over atleast an hour, if not alot more, Id like to see how he can call that in the heat of the moment.

But ye, hes about as gangster as Alan Carr. The two (perhaps 3) times hes been on Never Mind the Buzzcocks he was treated as a child due to his inability to take a joke or understand anyone elses jokes.

I don't understand his head. I've never seen him without a weird cone shaped hat on (with sunglasses on it ) so now I actually think that if he took off his hat he would literally have a cone shaped head.

    What a tard.
