I was walking through a large yard and found 20 Euro last night. It's nice and handy seeing as my welfare has been cut. Now I can buy food for my family because times were tough.

What were you doing walking through a large yard? Who's yard was it?

You should have been out catching fish for your children tbh.

Love it when that happens! Although I am never lucky enough to find other peoples money. Although I once found €42.50 in my coat pocket once (one I don't wear too often). I'd obviously broke a €50 note for something and stuck the change in my pocket. I'm not exactly rolling in cash, and can't believe I didn't miss the money! Came in handy though.

I got stung with a fake twenty yesterday... It was crumpled and worn when the cashier handed it me. ****ers had to pass it on to me

So I'm not the only one who does that? Grand stuff! It's always a nice surprise to find the money though.

Found 50 at a bar towards the end of a night in Spy one night, we got hammered. 5er tips for the bar man.
Found 300 last year - bought some nice grass.
Found a 20 at a bar on Aran Islands when we were camping there in a field. Was the islanders way of welcoming me as I went to order my first pint:-)

My favourite find was a 10 in a river in Glendalough, sweet. I was staying in the hostel there with one Swedish girl and one Irish lass for a few days and had very little $ at the time. I was chilling down stream knee deep wading in the water, couldnt believe my eyes when I saw it on the river bed. There was a thunder storm shortly afterwards and they were running through the woods and took their tops and bras as they were soaked through. Some gortex clad walkers couldnt believe their eyes either as they ran past. All thats true.

I was recalling the thrill of finding the money, very happy times. I love finding $ when I really need it is all. There is never a guilt spending found money as well.

I was sharing an apt with that Swedish lass and she would frequently walk around the gaff topless. I didnt see her running though the woods with her pall, they told me they ran past some gotex clad walkers topless. They were gob smacked. There was heavy thunder, lightning and monsoon rain. No spoof, all 100% truth.

I sometimes think why do I want to stay in Ireland, and you just wouldnt get that in Australia.

Walking home last friday from town I found a luas smart card in the snow. I had no idea if it had credit or not, turned out it had 17.50 on it. Not much but handy for a broke student:)

Found a fifty a while back but was paranoid to pick it up unless it was a TV show set-up or something. When I did pick it up, we applied the quick disposal of bad money method and went straight round to Nearys* :D

    *Dublin. Don't weep.
