Hi, my laptop has been acting up a lot lately so I'm thinking of buying a new one if it can't be fixed. Just looking for a few suggestions, basically anything but dell, steering clear from now on!
In regards price around €500-550 max. Mostly be using it for microsoft office, music, internet. Going to be using it a lot for college so it needs to have a good battery life. A decent memory would be good too but I might be pushing it a bit in my price range! Any suggestions would be great, thanks :)

i think you are wrong to steer clear of dell just because of a bad experience.
it really is hard to beat dell for overall value for money.

your price range is fine - you will get a great laptop for your needs for that price
    .
make sure it has windows 7 with a dual core processor and has at least 2 or 3GB of RAM.
