    either,
    1- hole in the floor
    2- window left open?
3-water gullys blocked with leaves and the water then pours in through the ventilation system.
4- there was a snowman hiding in there

    what make of car?

May cost zero, just check around the door seals of the car they they are not blocked with leaves, clean any dirt from them.

    Do you have a sunroof?

Water gets in where light units are, bit of sealant usually solves it
