Betfair exchange odds

    Just a quick one, I went on to the betfair exchange last night and got striker Torres @3/1 but the bet was settled at 3.15, is this right ?

    3.15 is only just over 2/1, doesn't sound right to me considering he won @ 5/2.

    I went into the exchange the page with back or lay and I backed him @ 4.1, I purposely didn't go into racecard as these were only projected odds.
    Anyway horse won and I got paid out at 3.14

    Thanks for the replies.
    Hi Nulty no I didn;t bet them @ SP as when I look at my account statement, I can see which horses I backed at SP but they do have an Average odds column in which they have the rate they paid me at 3.15. I'm new to betfair so I possibly have done sth stupid but just not sure what.

    I contacted betfair and it's because of the reduction factor based on the fact that 2 horses pulled out after I made the bet. Makes sense and probably very obvious :D

    Man I hate that reduction factor, soccerjackpot at 2.44 but with only 2 horses running I got 1.24
