Gas Boiler Pilot Jet (Injector) Blocking

Can anyone help please? I have a Grant 45F Gas boiler which is 15 years old and the pilot light jet has blocked up three times in the last two weeks. I have removed it and cleaned out the two pin holes each time and it then runs fine for a few days before partially blocking again. Once there is a partial blockage, the pilot flame is weak and does not allow the boiler to light. The system runs on natural gas so I dont understand why this jet is blocking or what I can do to stop it. Any suggestions wouold be gratefully accepted.
