    I got my Street fighter 4 T.E stick and a n 8 way gate but do i but in the gate or use the 4 way in the stick already

    I say try both gates for 1-2hrs each, so you get a feel for them.

    I'd say one to two weeks at least before even considering changing the gate.

    A couple of hours is not enough time to get familiar enough with it.

    I assume 8 way gate is another term for an octo gate?

    i put in the 8 way gate BUT my game got better not great but better i can hit the moves i want to hit while the gate wouldnt let me hit a fireball so im going to stick with 8 way for a while
