    Slightly odd one here but I'm off on hols to Dubai in 2 weeks - and just on the off chance if anyone has been there, where are good places to go clubbing?

    I have been before - my sister lives there, but always with Family so its always pretty quiet etc. Went clubbing once to Trilogy in the Madinat, which has what has to be one of the most incredible rooftop bars in the world. I think its closed now though. Also went to 360 bar which has perhaps an even better view, loved it. Also went to the Barasti bar which was cool but was fairly chilled.

    Wondering what bars/clubs are any good for house maybe techno etc. I know a lot of clubs are Table type affairs but not into that.

    Anyone got any tips?

    Dubai is amazing love it, ive travelled a lot but Dubai is the best city ive ever been to (although it can be very materialistic in some places)but in general it's fantastic!

    I've not been in 3 years (i've been there 5 times) so am in the same boat as you mate not totally up to date on the clubs there, you've probably been to the same clubs ive been whilst there.

    First time I was there at jonny, I went to 360 on Christmas day at night time, was amazing. Got chatting to the Dj and he was actually Irish, very sound guy. Actually I remember it's where I first heard that moby remix - raining again, which I know if one of your favorites. Later got chatting to some random arab dude who invited us onto his massive yacht in the marina. Was a bit weird but got absolutely smashed on champagne and had the worse hangover of my life the next day. Interesting Christmas to say the least!

    yeah man i remember you saying you were in Dubai the same time as i was a few years back around xmas and we were supposed to meet up over there but never got to in the end.

    Some of the Arabs are right into dance music people would be surprised as you wouldn't think they would be, you done well there getting an invite onto some Arabs yacht sounds amazing, we met some Arab guy in a bar before who asked if he could join us, we said sure no problem and he ended up buying us loads of rounds of drinks which was nice,sound bloke as well and he was obviously stinking rich :D

    Have been there about 6 times in the last 3 years and I feckin love Barasti. I have friends who go there religiously thursday night and there always seems to be a big DJ playing downstairs on the beach deck. Trilogy has closed down but they are reopening the roof top bar. There are a few more decent clubs in the Souk Madinat.

    Check out MIX at the Grand Hyatt when your there, they usually have an international DJ of note every couple of weeks.

    LOL, I wouldn't be too surprised!

    Good luck with 'Rider though, absolutely horrible music and his mixing is just dreadful, especially considering he's been making a living out of it for 20 years... Who else is playing?

    God I was there a few years ago myself too. I could not find anywhere open after 3. I was assured I wouldn't also by locals and those ex pats that worked there...

    Is that bit true anyway or has it changed? Nice time to go anyway :)

    Remember I was there in June/July and I thought Bray was hot during the summer!! :pac:
