6.59 posts per day is maybe 20 minutes per day on boards.ie posting. Not a hard feat if you have access to the internet at work.

I prefer to use facebook for stalking people I havent seen in a long time. Its satisfying to see girls I used to fancy turn into complete muck savages. Feels like I got away with something :D

So what if their status is 'clinically depressed' or 'highly contagious', would they still 'like' it then?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,243 ✭✭✭✭Jesus Wept

Saw a status message the other day where someone was talking about how their mother was dying, lots of comments and one thanks.
Seemed kind of wrong, I think I know what they meant though.

I've noticed some people liking their own status and its really stupid and a bit pathetic. What I suggest is to get back at them by posting status updates like "I hope I dont have AIDS" or "someone smells like shit today" and tag the people who are liking their own posts. Keep doing this on an hourly basis, regardless of how angry these people get

I always find it funny to read people on forums complain about facebook. Pot, thou share a likeness with kettle.

Endlessly carping about the Facebook statuses of people that you accepted or requested as friends is like smearing your walls with shit and then complaining to everybody about the smell.

Another thing is there usually the kinda people who post about 10 status updates in a row who do this . I just hide all posts from that person when it happens, but yeah, idiots with nothing better to be doing :rolleyes:

You hate it, do you: do you really?
Common definition of hate: (a) intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury, (b) extreme dislike or antipathy.
Do you literally hate when people do this? If so, you need to lighten up.

There's something wrong when a line saying whoever likes their own post upsets you enough to go to another social networking site and broadcast your disliking of a sentence.... since thats all that changes when someone "likes" their own post.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,094 ✭✭✭jd007
