    Lunch on day 2

Australia are 393-3 with Ponting and Clarke putting on great display, both over 150 n.o

i expect a declaration around tea, maybe a bit after, the pitch is still pretty flat but is starting to deteriorate now and should be ready for the Aussie bowlers to knock over the Pakistani's to pick up a 3-0 series win

It looks like the Aussies match alright. Pakistan have been poor all series, Yousuf's captaincy in the last test was shocking. They gifted Siddle and Hussey the runs.

The Pakistani's are clueless. The leadership is shocking. They have Younas Khan back for the 1 dayers but Mohammed Yousef is still the Cap. The PCB is just plain stupid and very infruiating as there are soo many gifted players that are not meeting their potential beacuse of politics and poor coaching choices.

    Aussies will win.

the series is locked up as it is, be interesting to see if they can survive today and tomorrow though

i agree the captaincy has been bad

Rain has been forcasted for todays play. Once Malik goes the rest should just buckle.

yeah the st session today, assuming it goes ahead according to plan will be the most important one i think, if the Aussies can get a break early it could be all over by lunch!

if they get to lunch without losing more then 1 more wicket, they might get a bit of luck with the weather and since they have something to hold on to might bat out the day

    done and dusted

    Siddle took the last wicket

Player of the series went to Watson, was always gonna be him or Hauritz, deserved

Totally out of their depth are Pakistan, no surprise really giving how little of it they play. They are going to get trashed by England and OZ in the summer as well.

The Spinless Pakistani's buckled as predicted. Its so frustrating to see a talented team going down the pan. sack the cap. Great batsman but not a leader of men. Younis Khan come back.

Younis is a good captain...but would he take on the job? Seems like the captaincy is a bit of a poison chalice! There's always something going on.

Afridi did well in the last game - very tight indeed.

However biting the ball 3/4 way through might restrict his opportunity to take over captaincy for a few games..

yeah the ball biting didnt look great, I like him as a captain though generally, he is a much better option the Yousef who is a great batsman, but has shown he lacks in captaincy

Afridi would make a great one day captain...but he's not a guranteed starter in the test side so that might hold him back. Would love to see him as captain though...far more attacking than Yousuf.
