Over the last week i have lost some freeview channels that broadcast of ch33, mostly utv,ch4,more4,e4 etc

Was wondering if anybody knows of any problems with the Divis transmitter or could it be that my aerial got damaged with the recent bad weather ?

That MUX is broadcast on a low power anyway, and broadcast in 64QAM making it easily prone to interference. My reception of it has been abnormal since Freeview started. Sometimes it's excellent, sometimes it breaks up now and again, somtimes it's a pixellated mess and sometimes it can't be received at all.

Whereabouts are you located and when did the problem start? I know that UTV was working fine for me last night on Freeview from Divis. I'm just not at home at the moment to check it again.

DSO works at Divis are underway so there are going to be a lot of interruptions and periods of low signal over the next 12-18 months.

I'm in Dundalk and like you have experienced abnormal reception on channels from this mux but it was fine all over the christmas/new year period and in the last ten days or so its just gone altogether!!!

I'm glad to hear you are having problems (only joking!!). Over the last couple of days I have been experiencing break up on all my freeview channels. I too though that maybe the ice have got into my aplified log periodic and bust it! I checked it today and it was fine so before I took any further action I decided to check here - so I guess you have saved me alot of fiddling around to no avail.

Still its crap to think I maybe like this for months!

I'm about 20 Klicks or so NE of Newry, and although we mostly view TV via Sky, the TV in the kitchen has built in freeview. I can't say I've noticed any particular difference in the signal down here. From the get-go it's been intermittent, very good at times and unwatchable at others. The signal strength isn't that good so it's susceptible to local interference, i.e. road traffic etc.
