    Hi guys
I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I am a first year student and I was wondering if it at all possible to drop out now but to have a place kept for you in first year next year in the same course. A serious of events that has recently occured means that my continuence of first year this semister will be practically impossible.

    Thanks for any help.

Go speak to your tutor about this. They will help you or put you in the right direction.

Given that I did the same thing in my first year, yes, it is possible, but you need to talk to your tutor ASAP.

+1 on the ASAP, otherwise you may be lumped with some hefty fees.
