UCD Jazz Society will be rockin the socks off campus with various gigs, parties, workshops and jamming sessions over the next 14 weeks. If there're any interested bands (jazz, blues, funk, rock, bitta this-bitta that, etc) bands looking for a chance to gig, please get in touch! It's a good chance to play to an appreciative crowd, then join in the giggles over a pint later. Email ucdjazz@gmail.com, preferably with a link to some of your music.

    With much love,

    UCD Jazz

    Hmmmm....

A bit of a tough one-the main problem with that is that you'd be playing to a crowd that is probably used to playing a fair few covers themselves, and are interested in hearing new things. Sure send on some recordings anyway if you're interested, and I'll get back to you.

Fair play for the quick reply! I was just about to call it a night...

i think i know someone who might be interested.
Do they need to perform for a set length? i.e: 30 - 40 mins etc?

Then, how come you included blues in your list of genres  Most blues bands do blues covers, and even if they do write their own material, it's still going to be blues.
