(Caveat: not talking to ye nutjobs of rollers and epic sessions)
But felt damn good resuming my regular commute after interuptions in the holidays and bad weather.
Only a few patches of potential black ice to negotiate but otherwise business as usual. Plus I've still got the fat tyres and low gear, just in case, so fairly zipped along.
Now I just have to shift an epic tummy expansion, get back up Howth Hill, get a geared bike and see you all at the wicklow 200.
    No problem.

Really want to get back to commuting on the bike but with the weather clearing I've a new problem - no shower at home with the water issues! Rather annoying! My only solution is to cycle back to the gym, shower there and then cycle back home. Not ideal and adds a rake of time to the commute but could be my only choice at the moment...

Hadn't been on my bike since December 17th! what with Holidays, Weather etc., so Yesterday was really looking forward to commuting to work. 2.5klm into my 25klm commute, slipped on black ice. Got back up and came down again about 2 minutes later! Marvelous! Don't you just love this weather?

I'm still off the bike since early december. Got caught in a traffic jam yesterday and watched a few cyclists (and one goddamn ninja) zip up the inside. Bitter Jealously doesn't even begin to describe it

yesterday was my first time back in the saddle since early November. had the flu then and floored for a few weeks- a bit too much gargle in December to be cycling...

Really enjoyed it, upgrading my mountain bike under the cycle to work scheme. the big wheels were necessary yesterday mind you..

About to test ride some road bikes/ cyclocross over the next few weeks. Have been back commuting for the past 15 months save for my pre- Christmas break

It's fifteen years since I had a road bike but taking a trek 2.1 home today for the weekend.. should be fun, and a bit lighter than the auld mountain bike...

fancy a road bike again, but interested to see how I will like the cyclocross bike - looking at a jake the snake.

I'm 6 3 and 16st and lets say used to fairly beat up the old road bike.

First spin of the year myself today-cut short by rain but so be it.

Great to get back out but I just noticed that after a month off the bike all my gear (except my socks) seems to have shrunk in the wash:rolleyes: and to top it all I have to reset my computer because it was giving incorrect readings-it added about 6 minutes onto a 30km cycle:rolleyes:
