Hi guys. Wondering does anyone out there use sound cloud. Not sure bout a few things regarding it and was hoping a few of you guys could help me out.

Is it a little like myspace ie free promotion?
Can i put my songs there so my friends can easily download them for free?
If i have a logic or ableton unfinished file can my mate access them, maybe do a bit of editing at his place then send the edited piece back?

What do you like/dislike about the site? Cheers in advance guys:p

It's free, it shows the waveforms, its incredibly fast and its community based. Just set up an account and use it yourself. All the danceheads/DJs rave about it

As for the unfinished file bit - if its a single stem from a track, thats fine, but obviously you can only host audio files as opposed to logic or ableton sessions.

Googledocuments do it up to about 250mb AFAIK

If you're going to pay for anything though, you're as well off just getting an ftp account and learning how to use it. Far cheaper, faster and safer than anything else.
