€8.57 off the collector general!

    Having rented for 7 months last year at €700 a month i filled in my rent 1 form to claim what i expected to be €400 back. However this morning the lovely collector general has lodged €8.57 into my account? Can anyone explain this for me? I worked full time from Jan to Sept and have been on a 3 day week since then if that has anything to do with? Any help appreciated.

    Ring the tax office and quote your PPS number.

    How you figure Boards users are going to figure this one out for you is quite baffling.

    I have seen instances of underpayments in previous years been offset against refunds but heck I'm pulling that out of the sky.

    The contact locator on the revenue website will give you the number for your local tax office.
