Anyone in the rathfarnham area not have water? I'm living around the butterfield avenue area and have tap water but the toilets don't have any water. Is anyone else like this?

The County Councils seem to be turning water off for periods, and then turning back on at reduced pressure.

This means that you will have cold drinking(?) water in your kitchen but the pressure will not be enough to push the water to your attic storage tank to fill it.

The tank in your attic supplies water to the rest of your house inc toilets, all wash hand basin taps, baths, showers, washing machines etc.

    Hope this make sense.

The other halfs mother was onlo DLRCC yesterday. They told her the reservoirs were empty and that it could take up to 8-10 weeks before they were back to normal levels.

Water seems to be ok here on Newtownpark Ave. Very strange, and there's nothing about Blackrock on the dlrcoco website.

This, I just do not understand - the amount of rain and snow over the last while - where the hell has it gone???

    Seriously??

There's a lot of it flowing down Westminster Road and another decent flow at Shankill near the Ambulance station.

The problem is that there is loads of burst mains due to the cold. If there was lots of water these would be evident as the water would rise due to high pressure and be seen on the roads. However in low pressure most of the burst pipe leakages are just seeping into the ground. So if you see any burst mains report them immediately
