    Hi..
Does anyone know if this can be thinned down a little with white spirits? On the website it says that it usually doesn't need thining but it's mighty thick stuff..
    Any help appreciated...

Is that a particularly tough type of paint?
I'm looking for paint for trailers etc. not too bothered about the colour as long as it's hard wearing....

I'm using it on a 6*4 steel trailer with owltrol oil as a rust inhibitor underneath..

I have only thinned down the end of a drum with white spirits, and it was okay, not to sure about all the drum may compromise its ability.

I used this last summer to paint some shed roofs. I didnt use thinner on the recommendation of the hardware merchant. He said just stir it until it is good and thin and then it was very easy to use.

Much easier to apply in summer when temperature is up. Try warming up the amount you want to use at a time. Should help.

I had a polish guy working for me a few years back, we were painting shed pillars and he thinned it with white spirits, pillars have gone rusty. Better off not thinning it at all.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Thanks..
Once I heated it up it is much easier to apply without the need to add anything.
    Slan..
