    pictures:
    http://picasaweb.google.com/stolenintegra/Integra#

    or the add on adverts.ie
    http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?product=152150&cat=2

The car has been STOLEN tonight (13/14 Jan 2010), driver's window smashed,

the honda had red honda badges (type-r like, there are silver badges on the pics, replaced after pics taken) on it (may be still on it, may be not),

    Registration: 97-D-71361

reg. plates most likely changed already, this is a Japan import, with a short, 9 or 10 digits, japaneese Chassis (VIN) number (all plates, tags in it written in Japaneese). The millage was 84k kilometers.

It has Japaneese sticker (blue) on the rear window (something like their tax, with date...)

if by any chance you've seen it driving anytime after 7pm last night, please let me know or contact directly Garda station.

If you're now on buying an Integra, please be aware, there can be this one stolen on the market already - be aware and in case you think you might notice this one, please let garda know asap, or contact me straight away.

If you notice someone offering integra second hand parts which might fit this car, please also let me know, as I think it may be also possible that the car is being sold for spares now.

    got her back...

found abandoned by guards not far away from my place, needs new window, ingnition, locks... It's actually in better condition than I could expect, all despite these seems to be ok, the millage is also almost same as it was before the theft,

some 'kids' must have taken her for a fun to drive around, this was certainly not a theft for money...

BTW, Is this only my opinion, or anyone also think that Tyrrelstown looks more and more like a Finglas recently? this was a really nice area once upon a time...

I've lived in Dublin 15 for 33 years - Tyrrelstown has never been a nice area.

That great that you got your car back. Hope you can manage to sort out
fixing the damaged parts. Stick an ignition kill swith some where too.
(saved my car in the past). Again glad you got it back. :)

yeah, I drove it straight to my mechanic's garage, he will take good care of it,
he's also gonna fit 2 new security systems in it (I'm not going to say what systems heh not to make the thefts easier job next time in case they also have internet)

maybe, but I haven't heard about so many stolen/burned cars before as recently around or maybe I was just blind...

I'm taking a stab at it
This write up is for an EK, but it goes the same for an Integra, take a peek and read the whole thread if possible, Clicky.

thanks for the link, just started reading this... will try to get through that all tomorrow

Yeah it took me a while to get through it, but there's a particular poster that basically kicks most deterents to the curb, he pretty much says the fuel cut is the only one that really works.

    Still well worth reading.

I've heard of a few cars like yours going for a hop lately... must be an order in somewhere for them..

why oh why haven't they ANPR set up in this country on our roads? Its a simple thing.

You should check with the toll roads and see if it went through the tolls...

    All car registrations are snapped...
