Is there a method of set up that can help colour blind people, the most commonest form of colour blindness is Brown and Red and it effects about 12 - 20 percent of the male population and 90% of MW2 games.

At the moment I can really only play Free for all, can’t make too many mistakes there but I’ve tried the team matches and it’s a disaster:(. Hopefully infinity ward will come out with some patch to fix this.

For anyone unsure if there colour blind or not try tests here

Yip same here... I usually just play FFA's for the same reason.. Can't go wrong just shoot everything that moves...:-)

In team deathmatches Favela map is ok because the other team either the brazilian guys or the soldiers.. I haven't played many team deathmatches but your team will have their names in green and the other won't have any names over their heads.. I think anyway.. but for me it's still not immediate to know should i shoot or not..

Still you would think it's something they would fix very easily.. but i suppose green is then main camouflage colour used for obvious reasons.. it would be a disadvantage to have people in white running around just for us colour blind people :-)

True... why they can't make just your team have blue names the whole time I don't know..

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully they'll come up with something.
There is a petition asking them good folks to make the game colorblind friendly, so you're obviously not alone in this...

I'm afraid I don't have this excuse. I don't play MW much, but in other -older- games I simply decided that there was an unappealable penalty for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Don't walk in front of my bullets and I won't shoot you. So there.

(That only works offline though :D. I wouldn't try that online...)

Because then tehy would have to choose a different colour for Friends and that would be a big mess :p

I am colour-blind but I just use the radar/map to know where my team-mates should be so if I hear someone sneaking up behind me but I see a green triangle beside mine, I know it's fine

    PC, ps3, or xbox?

If it's PC, try f**king with your gamma settings?

I am partly colour blind....as in colours a lot alike I have a problem with and although I can tell base colours easily I think the Russian/US uniforms are too much alike in the heat of battle and would prefer they changed the levels characters on the maps they are on.

I am too and to this day I still don't understand how I am colorblind. It happened me in Call of Duty 4 for the first few games, I would just shoot at everyone. Being colorblind ruined any chances of getting the one job I actually wanted!

One thing about mw2 that i ave found from the start is sometimes its hard to see other players in the distance , when i see the kill cam i can clearly se that they saw me perfectly.

I am blind in one eye and my eye sight in my good eye isnt too good either.

oes anyont else have the same problem as me??, or s it put into the game purposly.

I'm normally just too slow, but I've the same problem with the colour blindness, and the test above I failed on all counts:(

FFA for me on MW2, interesting how they could overcome this, without giving a bigger advantage to other players..

No being an electrician for you!

My brother has the same colour blindness as the op, he isnt really a massive gamer though, but i never heard him complain about it.

On a lot of maps the outfits/scenery combine too much as it is, making it very difficult to spot people. i know I know, real armies wear camoflague, but it's a pain in the arse spotting people sitting around on maps such as Estate.
