Hope its in the right place..?

Just git a philips nivea for men razor, pretty impressed so far. However they say you can use it in the shower. This is fine, but it seems to defeat the purpose of the moisturiser dispension.. You almost have to use it or else there is to much friction, but would the moisturiser not just wash off? Its bad enough using it, then getting into the shower, but while your in it seems a waste?

    any thoughts or experiences?

Yeah. I got one for Christmas year before last. After all the Nivea pouches that came with it were gone I didn't bother buying any more because I use it in the shower.

I think it's a great shaver! I get far less irritation than if I used the Mach 5 everyday. I use the mach 5 if I havent shaved for a couple of days (Monday morning) cos the Philips wouldn't be able to handle that tough stuff.

Maybe grumpy was just talking bout the pouches bein shít?

It really depends on what you want. If you want to shave everyday but you get razor burn, consider a good safety razor and shaving cream, loads of information on this thread.

Not a problem at all. Lots of crossover posts between both forums.

However I have to warn you that you WILL end up buying double edged and cutthroat razors...and brushes...and shaving soaps...and...and... :)

If your planning on using it in the shower then why fork out extra money for the moisturiser, seems abit pointless.

As long as you give your face a good wash before hand with something suitable you should be fine.

As for the suggestion of getting a DE Razor, don't be railroaded into it...if your not interested in them and what you have does the job and you don't get much irritation then happy days :)
