The recycled paper market used to be controlled by smurfits in Ireland. They also controlled the price and if the price gets too high for recycled paper, they force it down as they don;t want the recycled paper market to eat into their much more valuable "new" paper and card markets.

Am I the only person who raises a smile when I hear someone talking about recycled lavatory paper, with the mental image of someone fishing it out of the drains to recycle!

there was a post on adverts, but it was closed, it gave a link to a compnay who would purchase the paper, metal etc?I cant find it now.
