Athletic Therapy and Training...anyone here done it/ know someone doing it?

    I'm seriously looking to get on this course in Sept as a mature student, yet there are only 5 places reserved...i've been to the open day before xmas, read a bit about it and tried emailing the course director a few weeks ago with some questions but got no reply:( Anyways if any of you know someone doing this course or are in it yourself, can you please post up some details about what its like on the course, the workload, interaction with fellow students and lecturers regarding theory and practicals? Hopefully i'll get something soon...will be putting that as my 1st choice on CAO form:)

    Hi if you send me a pm with all the questions you asked the course director i will answer them for you (I graduated from this course last year and I'm back in DCU doing my masters)

    Just a few quick points - the workload is substantial but if its something you like doing then it doesnt seem too bad.

    the interaction between lecturers and students is good because classes are relatively small circa 25 students and lecturers have a genuine interest in improving your skills.

    also you get the opportunity in final year to go on work placement in the states which is an amazing importunity
