I just bought a treadmill and did a lot of research, read loads of reviews.

This was the 1st treadmill I looked at...don't buy it, bad reviews... from my research, I can tell you if you want to buy a treadmill, buy a decent one. Pick a brand that offeres you 2-3 years of free labour/call out if anything goes wrong.

I bought the Horizon Adventure 2 treadmill. So far , its great, feel just like a gym machine, 1-16kph, 0-10% electronic incline, very sturdy, 3 yrs parts/labour/call out included. I got mine from Elverys, it was about a grand, then reduced to 749, then they had a few display models left going at 599, and I got it down to 509.

p.s 713.99 euro for the reebok irun was never anywhere near realistic...The normal price on the site I mentioned above is 349 pounds...

For the extra few quid(about 160 extra if you can get the 1 I got) you get:

-Far better brand(Horizon are one of the top brands in treadmills)
-3 yrs on-site parts and labor(Horizon aftersales is excellent, they are quick , no waiting for parts like some others)
-Heavier, more sturdy machine
-Electronic incline 0-10%(only 2 manual settings on the reebok, so you can't change incline while running)
-Much better running area( 140cmx51cm on the horizon vs. 125x40 on the rebok)
Thats all that comes to mind off hand...

I bought the Reebok Fusion Cross Trainer for half price from Argos recently and am delighted with it. However, in my experience treadmills take a lot more punishment and you would probably be better off shelling out for a better one. The Argos reviews are usually pretty honest (by actual customers), so start by checking them.
