Just wondering if ayone has used any pistols with the BAXS system?-developed by cybergun/swiss-arms as far as I know.Apparently its used instead of(and supposedly better than!)the hop-up system.Ive read reviews of fellas shooting 1" bullseyes from 30 ft everytime!Ive noticed it on some Sig and Taurus-prob more?and its on springer and co2-maybe blowback also?To top it all off-a springer can shoot on av 315 ft/sec with .20's!

its just another name for a hop up i believe made up by cybergun which explains it all, a lot of marketing crap very little substance, and 1inch at 30feet is not that hard with a few upgrades

AFAIK Cybergun tried to patented the hop-up system or something and failed and came up with BAXS. Also I'm nearly sure its the same as a normal hop-up.

    I think :pac:

EDIT: I'm always beaten to it!

yeah i think thats about right, in other words dont buy Cyberscum.

Fair enuf about the upgrading-its no sweat with a good bucking and tightbore barrel on an aeg but what can you do to a springer with a barrel no more than a few inches?

Why? Because they have a different name for the hop-up system??

No...because they tried to patent a term for a system they did not develop nor contribute to & which had been in use for nearly 20 years.

Also look at other suits that they have filed in the French courts re: trademarks on airsoft guns.
I realise that they have paid a lot in liscensing to real arms companies but trying to prevent the importation into & through France of guns that are glock or HK-shaped is a bit much.

Im not a fan of any group that trys to consolidate its powerbase into that of a monopoly.

    And their "trades" are shít.

What makes you say their trades are ****e?

    Looking at them.....

    Bax is hopup.

As for what you can do to upgrade a springer pistol. Why are you getting one? its no point in airsoft skirmishing at all, the bax is identical to hopup as others have said.

Cybergun are built on lies, and legal bullyboy tactics.

Im not trying to upgrade any springer-puding suggested I did!?Why am I getting a springer?Cos I have several already-some pure dirt and some well worth the few bob they were.Best of the pick so far is the marui mk23 socom which lets .20's off at about 220fps and is pretty accurate(with marui .25's anyway!).As for having no use in airsoft-obviously not a favourite with most on the field but always a good sidekick esp. for a sniper in the event his choice weapon goes awol-light and quiet. If I can get my hands on one that claims to be up near the joule cut-off and hit said 1" bullseye at 30 ft.-Im on it,however mean and nasty the company may be.Any info lads?

uh, I can drill a 1 inch at 30 with most gbbs... most people here probably can...

And a springer isnt a good sidearm, when its time fior your sidearm, you're in deep s***. Most sidearms in airsoft are semi automatic gas powered or electric powered. Sniper sidearm? uh, not really hon.

You ever played at a skirmish?

Ok 1:I started this thread looking for info on the BAX system and whether anyone had used a springer with it?Im asking solely on 'ITS' performance-a 'SPRINGER'-not an upgraded gun,not a gbb,not co2 but a 'SPRINGER'.Uh,we can all drill 1" holes with one of the others and prob with our eyes shut too.

2:Oops.What I meant to say earlier was the springer 'WAS' "always a good sidekick....".Obviously not much benefit nowadays in the run of things, with all our advances in tech. but when we started out up the woods yrs ago twas essential backup!
If you snipe a bit sometimes for the sake of comfort(or confidence!)less is more.Sometimes I use my cyma G18C elec.-thats my comfy gun-no moving bits and nice blunt edges.Personally tho my fave sidepiece is an M4........in the poised and ready to shoot arms of a not too distant buddy!Anyway, anyone used a BAX springer lads!?

What was that show that Tim Allen Presented on home improvement? Heh, seems apropriate.

    Right, calm down.

firstly, Gbbs have existed since before airsoft was legal in ireland. In the woods... years ago... I suggest you stop this train of thought right now before someone you dont want to read this, does. (And yes, they read this forum.)

You're asking this on an airsoft forum.

We play airsoft. and use professional kit. None of us are merely plinkers, and springer sidearms are of little use. So probably none of us have bax springer pistols.

As we have said, its the same as hopup. and no better.

No need to be rude. We answered your questions, and I'm afraid you're going to have to live with the reality of our answers. Try and read some of the posts in this topic and you'll see.

Mamma mia!Whoa boy whoa.Lads-Ive always appreciated your help on matters and thanks.Yes,from the word go it was said BAX was the same as hop-up-just wanted to know if anyone used said cybergun wonders? That was it.Yes-gbbs were around fado fado-tis just we were poor and springers from battle orders were our limit! And yes-tis true-sad me has a soft spot for the humble springer-the granddaddy of it all.And just as true when at home and the clack, clack of a gbb just aint feasable,yep-you guessed it.Plinkaholics anonymous for me!
From now on-you'll only hear me speak of the real steel-scouts honour!

BAX is like normal hop up but it has left-right adjustement too
but if you were in a skirmish, and tried to adjust it to the right, the wind will have changed by the time you get it:p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,261 ✭✭✭Puding

the problem with the left and right adjustment is that is is not reliable, and you can not inpart spin to an object in two directions at the same time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 104 ✭✭RockBadger

Well that wont do.Thanks lads.I guess the morale of the story is-BAXS aint the MAXS!!
