Just looking for peoples opinions here...

Which should I do first with a house build, Fasica, Soffit and guttering or the external plastering.
Going with a render on the external.

    Thanks,

    Mike.

you can just fit the bead for the soffit and plaster up to it . it will save getting mortar all over the soffit .

Just had my plastering done before christmas and as said above, the bead was put on and then the plastering done, facia put on after plastering, lovely clean job

Generally it is more convenient for the plasterer to have facia and soffit and gutters fitted prior to plastering just in case it rains. It is easier to protect any plaster especially one coat products from damage this way. We would do it this way and push a 100mm or 150mm DPC into the J channel to keep the soffit clean. Then the only cleaning is on the J. This is particularly helpful as we apply all plasters mechanically.
