    Is there any alternative to the train or car hire for a transfer from Munich Airport to Kitzbuhel.

    Yes there are a few companies that service Munich airport. Try four seasons taxi - just google them.

    Train is dead easy though and its a doddle of a drive.

    those skibuses / minibues can be very expensive - can be up to 150 one way. If there's 2 or more of you it's cheaper to get a car and you have the flexibility of not being constrained to a timetable.

    Kitz has it's own train station - you should be able to get there with a max of one or two changes.
