I'm in a rut, and I'm unsure what to do, its come up to the point that I feel bad.

It's like only recently that each day goes by so fast, I feel like when I turn around the day has passed, like people don't have the time to hang a sign on me like they've been doing for all my life. I feel like the people I love, I don't have the time to love them while I can, before I become a dead old man.

But what everyone has still means a lot to me.

I feel a sense of isolation, and paranoia. I feel like that the people around me are gonna screw me in the ground.

I have a girlfriend, and a good amount of friends, and I talk to them every day, but still I feel lonely, like I have no place. I feel like me and the other lonely people of the world don't belong, where do we all belong?

Sorry your feeling that way.
Would you consider maybe a change of scenery or take up an outside hobby that might introduce you to a new group of folk?
Camera club, choir, etc...

Try and get out more and mix with new people. Seek those that are positive and try to keep away when possible, from the negative ones.
Hanging around them is doing you no favours.

If your been serious then you sound depressed and maybe should look into that...most people do at some stage so your alone and will get over it....

There is a difference between being alone and being lonely . Anybody regardless of their circumstances, be they in a relationship , married , lods of friends ,good job , social network etc can feel lonely so it's not exclusive to just one type of person or persons from a particular background .I recently read a great article on the subject of Lonliness by a journalist which I found very intresting .See if I can dig it out and post here
