I recently received a Nike+ Sportsband for Xmas and have tried on 2 sepate occassions for 1 hour to sncy the wristband to the runner. I have been on the Nike website and have followed their instruction but I still can get it to work.
The problem occurs when i hold the button on the face of sportsband after i have placed it in the special compartment in shoe it just reads walk. Now I have walked and ran around the kitchen and livingroom like a headless chicken but still nothing changes.
When i press the main button again it doesnt start recording anything. Has anyone esle had similar problems or am I just a headcase.

    Thanks

Mine can be a bit slow to pick up, but it usually does after maybe 30 seconds. Try really exaggerating your step and swing the wristband down near your foot to see if that helps.

Does it just keep saying walk all the time?

The problem i was having was that i needed to buy a special chip around €25 (cheapest in HMV) that went into the shoe. once i synced it up it works great. It motivates you when you are running by keeping your pace consistant ( I try keep it under 5 minute km's) - Its a good cheap option rathere than paying for the garmin watch...

Ooo I might get one of these. I've the Nike + for my nano, but I've started running with other people more - and it's a bit antisocial to wear earphones with people!

I've a few foot sensor doofers around, I'm assuming they're the same ones you use for both?

Thats the one...... you link it up to nike website and it gives you some good comparisons to previous runs...

Good stuff, I love the Nike+ for my nano - just need an alternative when I'm not listening to music!

I use the sportsband with the sensor.
pm me your username if you'd like to be friends on the nike+running site
It's not incredibly accuare but it's a good motivational fun gizmo nonetheless.

I didn't have any problems syncing...
when it blinks walk maybe try it outside on concrete, then it should change to "push to run" .
