    Hi wanted to place this in tLL contraceptives sticky but also wanted to also wanted to go anon!

    This question is for those of you on the Nuvaring.

    I started it just over two weeks ago, on the first day of my period as instructed. Usually my period only lasts about 3-4 days max but this time after inserting the ring, I’ve still got it, over two weeks later!! I know from reading instructions that there can be spotting and my doc said it might take a while to settle in so don’t want to go back to them just yet, going to wait until the 2nd month in. I hadn’t been on anything before this. It’s just starting to worry me slightly as I’ve never had a period last so long (it’s not painful or heavy) but I just want to check this is normal n if it’s happened to anyone else???
