Amazon electronics purchases

I beleive that Amazon has fairly recently relaxed the restriction on sending electronic items to RoI, however, when trying to buy a very small item, I was unable to complete the process.

Has anybody else had this problem, or overcome it, or not had it ?

Are you buying from an Amazon Market Place seller by any chance?

Can't remember, there was only 1 seller of the item I wanted. What's the difference ?

The difference is that the change only applies to items sold by amazon themsleves. Shipping to ireland for items sold by marketplace sellers on amazon is at the discretion of the seller.
