Hey Guys, looking for a bit of help here!

I drive a 1999 opel astra saloon and recently (because of the ice) i skidded into a curb.
I noticed the car was a bit off so i left it into a well known branded garage to get the tracking done which costs €55.

They rang me back this morning and told me that my wishbone is gone - to replace it with a new one and re-do the tracking will cost €255.

I'm not really up on these sorta things so was looking to see if anyone knows if im being ripped off here and if i should look for somewhere else?

I'd really, really, really appreciate your feedback on this one.

Probably about right,wishbone 100/120,tracking 55 and couple hours labour 80 ish.It would want to be a good 4 wheel laser alignment for 55 quid though

Irish price list is 5 times more expensive than UK
Try GSF car parts in Dublin you might get it cheaper

Because this is IRELAND! Try eurocarparts.com also,should be cheap on there.Price i quoted in 2nd post would be your mechanic getting it off the local motor factors price.
