Firstly apologies if this is the wrong place for this question...

Basically, my external harddrive(Western Digital) isn't being recognised anymore.

I was working on some files (on a desktop Mac) it housed and - like an eejit - accidentally disconnected the extension lead from the mains. When I turned it back on the Mac's working fine but the hard drive isn't being recognised. I've tried other external drives and they're grand - is there ANYTHING I can do to remedy this????!!!
