    just wondering does anyone on here go ferreting in dublin or near dublin. . . ? or know of anyone who does?
    just wondering if i could tag along to help out and learn the basics. . ?

    well im in donegal and i do but its a bit far. you dont no how to put a muzzel on one by any chance i cant seem to manage that

    as regaurds the muzle. .

    do you have the muzle? and cant keep the ferret still? or cant figure out how the muzle goes on?

    yes that exactely the problem i could just bring the ferret, finder and a shovel and get them all day. none seem to get time to bolt any muzzel i would try but i presently use the ones that u get from the store a leather one

    Dont muzzle a ferret....Thats an old and hopefully long gone practice, I once dug down to my own ferret, to find a dead ferret, with a muzzle on in the hole, I have also luckily found a ferret, many years ago that someone that words couldnt describe...Had broken its teeth out with pliers...A real sportsman. I kept the same little ferret for years, Unfortunately he couldnt eat rabbit unless it was minced for him, but I gladly obliged, he had been through enough.

    Not only is it unfair in the instance that you loose the ferret he / she cannot survive on their own by killing rabbits, But should they, and more often than not they will, meet a rat below ground, the have no way to defend themselves...

    Be an ambassador for your sport, Muzzling is cruel and uncalled for, your ferrets put in the work for you, put in something in return for them.
