Yes I know of thomann.de musicstore.com etc. but does anyone know of any other European or UK based sites. I was on the dolphinmusic.co.uk website and their prices were really low but I have never bought anything off them. The cheapest Irish site seems to be Waltons but there must be other online Irish shops with lower prices.

If you look at this post in the resources section you will see a list of shops.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=512721&postcount=1

The irish shops listed there are

    http://www.waltons.ie - Walton's Music, Dublin -
    http://www.everestmusic.com - Everest Music, Bray -
Perfect Pitch Music, Dublin - Eschequer street
    Music Technology - online only
    Audiocity - online only
    http://www.247guitar.com -247 online only
http://www.xmusic.ie X-music Red Cow Retail Park, Ballymount and online
    Adlib music - Carlow

I have personaly always found waltons to be the most expensive so i dont know where you are getting the yare the cheapest. Then in europe there is guitarampkeyboard.com, dolphonmusic, thomann, musicstore etc. The advantage of the uk shops is now lost since the VAT rate has leveled out and we are closer to the uk vat there may be some bargains there.

I bought a bass amp from them. It turned out to be faulty. I rang them. They emailed me a bar code to put on the return package. I returned it. Had a replacement within a week. They kept me informed through out. A few days later they rang me to see if all was ok, and if I was happy with the new one, which I was.

Bottom line : I found their customer service second to none, and would definitely buy from them again.

You could also try ebay, which I've used numerous times without any hassle.

    Dolphin are great alright.
Gak.co.uk would be my #1 choice and dv247.com would be next in line.
