Firstly if this is against the rules i"m sorry, not my intention to get banned or barred .what i want to ask is can i put pressure on a solicitor to finish a case for me its been going on for the last 5-6 years and still seems to be no end to it .In August 09 he informed me an acturist'sreport was needed and 5 pieces o data required,in Oct 09 he told me all inromation was sent to him for his report ,so on Jan 4th I made contact with acturist who informs me that he is still waiting on a piece of infrmation and has requested this from my solicitor whom i can not make appt to see as his recep says he is away till late next week .wat are my options pls

It is against the rules. I'll leave it open for the moment, you need to deal with the solicitor. I assume you are referring to an actuary? If the case is complex the delay may be valid and it may be in the litigation process.

If you are unsatisfied with a solicitors responses you can seek recourse by going to the Law Society and reporting same solicitor. I would advise and it is NOT LEGAL ADVICE, that you consider writing to or calling to the solicitor's office to get a result. The Law Society being the last and something of the nuclear option.

Thanks Tom , fully understand if you feel the need to close it , but the reason or one off them that I'm worried is that there is no litigation as its with a tribunal and they are waiting on the go ahead from him to finalise the case. The way things are in the country I feel that this tribunal could be somewhat trimmed down one of the days and this was the actuary's feeling aswell or that they may run out off money , thanks or you input
