am planning a weekend away in dublin but am on a tight budget (200 max) can anybody suggest a nice guesthouse/hotel in and around city centre or perhaps the drumcondra area, don't want to stay any further out than that if possible.

    thanks :)

D4 hotels have deals at the mo. I think I saw €20 per room in an ad. Might be worth checking out .

Edit: actually it's €20.10! no doubt there are terms and conditions, but worth a look... http://www.d4hotels.ie/

hi I stayed in The Russel Court hotel on Hardcourt street last sunday night! worked out at 35e for 2 of us including breakfast. Very good value and nice hotel. May be worth a look.

check this place out,it's not quite as cheap as the others mentioned but if you like a little bit of quality for a bit of extra cash GET INVOLVED

We had a work night out 2 Saturdays ago and 2 of us decided to stay,it's only just done up and what an improvement,we paid €40 each (room only),the hotel is very clean, nice bar/restaurant and the biggy is the Luas is directly outside the door
I couldn't say enough about this place, having stayed in town many times in the morrison and the like paying through the nose, next time i'll be staying here for sure.
