recently ran an event in Ireland
Funny thing is the week prior to the event main sponsor had to pull out due to financial difficulty ticket sales were not great so cancelled show on the Monday show was supposed to take place following Friday anyway the night i cancelled the show i got a call from a publican i know who informed me that one of his customers who is financially well off would put all the money up to put the show back on, cut a long story short sponsor turned up on the night said couldnt get cash in such short time but would supply me with a bank draft following monday that was first week in December
to this date still havent been paid in dept of more than €15,000 his sponsor was supposed to be €15000 i have corrosponding emails from him refering to this matter also have him taped on phone calls also publican said he would sign an affidavid that this man agreed to pay this Money
funny thing is this man came to the event and took applause from the crowd because he saved the show .
Is there a legal route i can take to retrieve this money

For that sort of money, you really need a solicitor.

Write down everything you can remember and keep all documentation, no matter how indirect.
